Meet the Team

Owner

Shawn Brown

Shawn Brown has been the owner of Crestone Construction for 25 years after purchasing the business from an employer-friend and rebranding it as Crestone.

Since he was little, Shawn always enjoyed doing small building and carpentry projects with his handy dad.

After college, Shawn worked for a close friend who started a small remodeling business. There he took his skills to the next level, mastering the craft from roofing, framing, rough and finish carpentry, tile setting, minor electrical and plumbing, until ultimately taking over the company.

After years of, as they say, "swinging a hammer," Shawn’s skill set now lies in the organization and management of ongoing projects. He is a longtime Shorewood resident who, outside of work, enjoys rock climbing, snowboarding, fat tire biking and traveling with his family.

Jesse Brown

Project Manager

Jesse brings over 20 years of experience in custom building and remodeling. He is accredited as a NARI Certified Remodeling Project Manager.

Early in his career, Jesse discovered an aptitude for fine carpentry and woodworking. After honing his skills with various custom home builders, he started his own finish carpentry business and branched into renovation. Having worked closely with Crestone for a number of years as a finish carpenter, he now fills the role of project manager.

With attention to detail, he approaches each project with the importance of family in mind, striving to maintain a safe and livable daily routine for our clients throughout the construction process.

His personal pursuits include traveling and enjoying outdoor activities with his family.

Pierce Campbell

Lead Carpenter

Pierce’s passion for carpentry began when he started as an apprentice for friends working in the trades in 2016. His admiration for their mastery of carpentry led him to pursue that same high quality of craftsmanship in his own work. Since starting with Crestone in 2017, Pierce has exhibited the values, as well as the technical skills our company is known for, and is now one of our lead carpenters. Pierce’s drive for excellence motivates the continual advancement of his skills and knowledge regarding all facets of remodeling.

When not working on his own, or others homes, Pierce and his wife enjoy spending their time together pursuing activities such as, traveling, snowboarding, and motorcycling.

Ryan Ogburn

Lead Carpenter

Working with Habitat for Humanity as a youth gave Ryan a glimpse into carpentry and the trades as a profession. Throughout his 20’s Ryan studied and gained experience in various trades including roofing, painting, framing, trim carpentry and custom tile. Ryan has been with the company for over 15 years and is currently one of Crestone’s Lead Carpenters. Ryan’s various talents lend to a fine-tuned, attention to detail and artistic approach to the trades. He brings his creativity and master craftsmanship to every project.

Outside of work Ryan studies a variety of musical styles and performs professionally in a few different groups. He also has a dedicated yoga practice and enjoys staying physically active and spending time outdoors.
